Hello. My name’s Nori, and I create all the artwork on Nori’s Wall. I was born in Chicago, but I currently live in Cape Cod. I’ve been here almost 10 years. I’m a Youth Services Librarian and Assistant Director for a small town library on the Cape.
I am lucky enough to read dozens of picture books a week for my job, and I am very inspired by the books I read. My artwork is also inspired by the beautiful location I live in, and the feisty dog in the photograph above. There’s also a legendary peacock that makes his way into some of my pieces.
I love color, whimsy, and story. All my work is originally painted with acrylic paint on canvas. I do occasionally work a little with mixed media, and I’ll note any work where I do.
